Hearings Coming on HB 630!

Thanks to all of your calls and emails in support of HB 630, we’ve just been informed that HB 630 will be heard in the Second Amendment sub-committee next Tuesday!

Now is our chance to push this bill through the committee and onto the House floor for a recorded vote.

But that won’t happen until the sub-committee recommends a “Do Pass” status on this bill — and that’s not a guarantee by any means right now.

Multiple members of the sub-committee have a long history of attacking the Second Amendment in Jeff City.

More than that, there are moderates in the House that are whispering in the ear of the House leadership to ‘just let this bill go.’

That’s why I hope that you’ll show up to the Missouri Capitol next Tuesday to show your support for HB 630!

(We’ll give you the exact time and room number when we have it.)

As a reminder, HB 630 would remove the dozens of ‘Gun Free Zones’ that plague Missouri even after the passage of Constitutional Carry legislation last year.

Simply put, these ‘Gun Free Zones’ are the favorite targets for crazed criminals.

Consider these incidents, which all have taken place in just the past couple of years
:

1.   June 12, 2016, a terrorist named Omar Mateen shot up the Orlando nightclub where guns were not allowed, killing 49 innocent people;

2. December 2, 2015, two married terrorists, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, launched an attack at an office complex in San Bernardino, CA, where guns were not allowed, killing 14 innocent people;

3. October 1, 2015, a deranged college student named Chris Mercer came into a classroom at the Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, OR, where guns are not allowed, and opened fire, killing 9 innocent people;

4. June 17, 2015, a racist named Dylann Roof opened fire in a Charleston, SC church during a prayer service, an area specifically off-limits to guns, killing 9 innocent people.

I could go on.

But the pressure in Jeff City to crush this bill is intense.

Almost every week our Political Director, Alexandra Salsman, runs into groups of Michael Bloomberg-funded activists who are working to stop this expansion of your Second Amendment freedoms.

So we can’t take anything for granted, especially with ‘friendly’ legislators like Donna Lichtenegger and others working behind the scenes to stop this bill.

That’s why I’d be honored if you could join us in Jeff City next Tuesday as this bill is heard.

MOFC staff and volunteers will be giving testimony in support of this bill and we’d love to have your support!

Whether you can make it in person or not, please contact the committee members right away by phone, email or Facebook and urge them to support this bill.

This bill is the next step in our fight to advance the Second Amendment here in Missouri.

Let’s get this done now — to give Missourians the means of self-defense — before a tragedy strikes here.

And please also consider a donation to the Missouri Firearms Coalition.

We’re working non-stop in Jeff City to advance your gun rights but we can’t do it alone! Please chip in $50, $25 or even just $10 right away!

I hope to see you at the Capitol soon!

For Freedom,

Dr. Curt Frazier
Chairman of the Board

Lastly, I hope you’ll consider chipping in $50, $25 or even just $10 to help us mobilize as many gun owners as possible to this fight!
