Joe Biden will be the most anti-gun President that America has ever seen. Honestly, that has less to do with Joe Biden and more to do with the people that surround him.
Snarling, snapping, America-hating leftists like Vice President Kamala Harris, Beto O’Rourke, Michael Bloomberg, Senator Mark Kelly and others hate gun owners — and they want to punish us for daring to stand up and fight for our freedom.
They don’t want to tweak our gun rights. They want to obliterate them, because our Second Amendments freedoms are the only thing standing between us and run-away government tyranny!
But while we do everything in our power to hold the line against federal gun control, it’s crucial that we have a PLAN B in case Biden is successful.
That’s why the Missouri Firearms Coalition is working to advance the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) which would nullify federal gun control laws here in Missouri!
As we’ve said before, SAPA legislation is based on the well-established anti-commandeering doctrine which states that the federal government may not simply ‘commandeer’ the state’s legislative authority and force us to submit to federal laws that conflict with state law.
The idea that the states are separate legal entities that have the right to tell the federal government to pound sand has been upheld by the Supreme Court repeatedly — by conservative and liberal justices alike — going back hundreds of years!

Once passed, SAPA law would not only give Missouri peace officers the option to ignore federal gun control laws, it would require that they do so. And any government officials who violate SAPA legislation would be subject to civil lawsuits!
The big question, of course, is whether or not the Missouri legislature and Governor Parson will pass this legislation and protect gun owners like us.

The exciting thing is that the idea of the Second Amendment Preservation Act is spreading in ‘red states’ all over the country, as pro-gun legislators are following Missouri’s lead!
In Iowa, our neighbors to the North, Representative Jeff Shipley has just filed this legislation on behalf of our sister organization, Iowa Gun Owners!
In Wyoming, Senator Anthony Bouchard, the state’s leading voice for gun owners, has just filed SAPA legislation as well. Bouchard helped our sister organization, Wyoming Gun Owners, pass Stand-Your-Ground law in 2018 and is determined to stop federal gun control in his state.
In Minnesota, newly elected Representative Erik Mortensen is quickly making a name for himself by sponsoring SAPA legislation in conjunction with Minnesota Gun Rights, our sister organization to the North.
In Georgia, Representative Philip Singleton unveiled SAPA legislation last week for Georgia Gun Owners, our sister organization in the South.
And we know for a fact that SAPA legislation will be filed in Pennsylvania and Ohio in the coming days, as well!
The only question left now is which state will be the first one to pass this legislation.
Here in Missouri, gun owners have been THE REASON why the Republicans have obtained and preserved their legislative majorities, despite Bloomberg’s repeated attempts to weaken or topple them.
Despite this, legislative moderates have blocked every single gun bill in Jeff City for years! In fact, Missouri hasn’t passed a gun bill since President Obama was in office!
So it’s high time that the politicians in Jeff City return the favor to gun owners and pass Senator Burlison and Representative Taylor’s SAPA legislation, safeguarding our freedoms from Joe Biden and everyone else in Congress who wants to destroy them.
