The 2022 Legislative Session is Underway: Take Action!

The 2022 session of the Missouri General Assembly has officially kicked off here in Jefferson City, and with this being an election year, EVERYTHING IS ON THE LINE!

As always, the Missouri Firearms Coalition will be leading the fight to defend and expand your right to keep and bear arms in the legislature all year long — and giving you action alerts so that you can help us fight!

This year there are TWO MAJOR ISSUES that will be affecting your gun rights.

First, we need to be on guard for the coming attempt to repeal some or all of Missouri’s Second Amendment Preservation Act. You’re going to hear much more from us in the days ahead, but this is a very real threat!

If we lose SAPA, there will be nothing protecting gun owners from Biden’s two Executive Orders attacking our gun rights that are going to take effect next month. And, the national momentum for this legislation will evaporate.

But we also need to fix the problems with Missouri’s self-defense laws that allowed Mark and Patricia McCloskey to be arrested and charged with felonies, for the crime of defending themselves against a violent mob!

MOFC is already working with Senator Burlison and Representative Jered Taylor to advance this legislation. But I hope you’ll email your lawmakers today and urge them to cosponsor this legislation.

Missouri is at a crossroads right now.

If the legislature can repeal some or all of our SAPA law and crush our efforts to improve our self-defense laws, we are going to slide further away from the freedoms our state was founded on.

But if we can defend SAPA and fight to improve our Stand-Your-Ground laws we will be sending a message to the legislature and the media that freedom is alive and well here in Missouri!

Please help us do that, by sending the two PRE-WRITTEN EMAILS above and then making a donation to help the Missouri Firearms Coalition fight for you in Jeff City this year!
