I’ll get right to the point: November could be a disaster for the Second Amendment here in Missouri.
And if it is, you and I both know what comes next.
The Democrats aren’t hiding what they want to do to our gun rights. They filed over 60 gun control bills this year alone. Give them a bunch of wins in the House and Senate, and they’ll come roaring into Jeff City demanding gun control in January.
Right now, the Left thinks the political winds are at their backs. And they may be right.
Midterm elections are always tough on the party that controls the White House. Trump is not on the ballot; how much of his base turns out without having him to vote for? And how many people don’t vote, angry about ongoing wars and gas prices?
That’s what worries me.
I’ve spent a lot of time talking with people around Missouri about what they’re seeing on the ground.
And I’m telling you, if gun owners decide this election isn’t worth showing up for, November 3 could be a very bad night.
If that happens, you can forget expanding gun rights any further. We’ll be fighting like hell in Jeff City just to stop the Democrats from rolling back the freedoms we’ve already secured!
Any way you look at it, you and I are heading into a major fight — and the consequences for our gun rights could last for years to come.
The good news is that the Missouri Firearms Coalition is preparing to fight back. We have just completed our critical 2026 “Plan for November,” and I wanted to make sure you saw it right away.

As you’ll see, I’ve budgeted $164,550 to put the Missouri Firearms Coalition’s ‘Plan for November’ into action.
Subtracting money already allocated for this program, we still must raise $100,550 between now and October 17, to run this program at full speed.
I know that’s a lot. But between dozens of legislative races all across the state, the Democrats are likely to spend tens of millions here in Missouri this fall.
The truth is that MOFC spent a lot of money during the primary election earlier this year and on briefs filed in the Supreme Court in the ‘Assault Weapons Ban’ case. We need your help to fund our general election program — or the Left is going to get their way.
I cannot begin to explain what a DISASTER that would be here in Missouri.
Instead of staying on offense and working to ban ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ and expand our Stand-Your-Ground law protections, we’ll be on defense, fighting to stop gun control!
The Democrats have been waiting for this chance for a long time, and if they have momentum next session, they’ll be pushing for bills like:
- Legislation to repeal our Stand-Your-Ground law; Missouri’s self-defense laws need to be improved. But if we lose our current laws, liberal prosecutors could throw any one of us in prison for the ‘crime’ of defending ourselves.
- A concerted effort to overturn Constitutional Carry; it’s not just liberal Democrats who want this law overturned, either. RINO Republicans never wanted to pass this, and some would happily overturn it, with help from the Radical Left.
- A major push for ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ legislation; which would allow liberal judges here in Missouri to order the seizure of your firearms based on the word of someone who doesn’t like you, before you’ve been charged with a crime!
And this could be just the beginning.
Our Second Amendment freedoms are THE FREEDOMS that protect the rest — it’s what keeps criminals and our government in check.

That’s why the Left is trying to strip away our gun rights here in Missouri and move on to passing out-and-out gun control. They want to disarm their political opposition; and we all know why.
We can’t let that happen. That’s why Second Amendment supporters need to stand up and fight back hard right NOW.
There are so many races and situations across our state where Missouri’s gun owners can make a difference, including:
- House District 101. Rep. Ben Keathley has been 100% pro-gun in the House for years. More than that, he’s fought tirelessly to move gun bills through his General Laws Committee, staving off amendments from RINOs in his own party. Democrat Paul Lentz is the opposite and would vote to disarm every single one of us.
- Senate District 2. Senator Nick Schroer has a fantastic voting record in the Missouri Senate and was the lead sponsor on one of our bills this year. The Democrats hate him, and that’s why they are running a starry-eyed radical Commie against him. Susan Shumway hates the Second Amendment and would do all she could to obliterate it.
- Senate District 28. This open seat race could change the balance of power in the Senate. Dr. Sam Alexander is loudly pro-gun and surveyed 100% with MOFC. His Democrat opponent, Mike McCaffree, would be a button pusher for Senate Democrats and vote for everything from ammo registration to a ban on the sale of AR-15s.
Of course, this is just a sampling of many competitive House and Senate races as we head into November. There’s HD-132 in Springfield, SD-30 also in Springfield, and other races will get tighter as we approach Election Day.
The outcome of these races will determine the future of Missouri, so we can’t pull any punches!
In fact, we’ve put together a three-part plan to expose these gun-grabbers using:
- A series of 15-, 30- and 60-second digital ads, breaking down the anti-gun records that dozens of elected gun-grabbers are trying to keep secret;
- An exhaustive texting program, putting facts right onto the phones of gun owners. We’ll provide survey results, voting histories, bill numbers, and more;
- A hard-hitting radio (and perhaps even TV ad) campaign hitting the biggest gun control supporters in key districts across the state!

Connect with hundreds of thousands of gun owners in our targeted legislative races. These alerts are affordable and give gun owners critical information in the days before they head to the polls. Texting alerts are effective since they appear right on a gun owner’s phone. In some districts, we have the data we need. We’ll need to buy data in others.

A combined radio and TV ad campaign in races where the margins are tightest and a last-minute media blitz could educate a massive number of gun voters about the gun control their Democrat incumbent has voted for. This airtime is expensive, but nothing allows us to communicate with more gun owners faster.
