Where Should We Fight in 2017?

If you had told me a couple of weeks ago that the Missouri State Legislature would be just a week into the 2017 session, and I’d be rushing to write you this emergency letter, I never would have believed it.

As strong as the passage of Constitutional Carry proved you and I were last year, we should be even stronger in 2017 after some of the victories won by Second Amendment supporters during the 2016 election year.

But I’m worried stiff the Missouri Firearms Coalition’s plans to REPEAL so-called “Gun Free Zones” across the Show-Me State during the next legislative session won’t be able to get off the ground.

So with the next session of the Missouri State Legislature just days away, I need your advice.

As you’ll see, I’ve included a critical Member Ballot with this message down below. Won’t you please fill it out and submit it to me?

The truth is, money is tight. Too tight, after I unloaded Missouri Firearms Coalition’s bank accounts during last year’s Constitutional Carry fight and the lead up to the 2016 elections.

But with everything that was at stake -– and all the incredible progress you and I made — I don’t regret that decision at all.

But those hard fought victories have come at a price. So today, I need you to tell me where to focus.

Tops on my list for 2017 was going to be passing a “Gun Free Zone” repeal bill for Missouri.

As we’ve seen from bloodbath after bloodbath over the past two decades, so-called “gun free zones” have absolutely NOTHING to do with keeping citizens safe from violence.

Instead, “gun free zones” are bait for sickos.

They just ensure killers never have to worry about running into someone who is armed.

The gun-grabbers know all of that. But they don’t care.

And sadly, state law plays right into their hands.

Under state law, well over a dozen public and private entities — like churches, polling places, schools, hospitals, daycares and many restaurants — have already been established as entities where a killer never has to worry about running into a legally armed citizen.

ALL local government meetings are “gun free zones” too — except that ban doesn’t apply to government officials… they can legally carry to defend themselves if they want.

Well, isn’t your life just as valuable as that of a government official?

Don’t our kids in day cares and schools across the state deserve better than for state law to leave our kids as waiting victims for the next madman?

In a day and age with ISIS-inspired cells lurking everywhere — and new Islamic refugees pouring in by the millions — isn’t it reasonable that someone attending a Sunday morning service at their local Christian church may want to be armed?

And with racial tensions running so high over the past two years, isn’t it reasonable that someone might want to protect themselves when they go vote — especially if they live somewhere that’s considered too “pro-cop” or otherwise unacceptable in this stifling age of political correctness?

Studies prove that guns help deter crime. They make us safer.

So if you think GOING ON THE OFFENSE with Gun Free Zone Repeal is most important, please mark “OPTION #1: END GUN FREE ZONES IN MISSOURI!”

But before you do, please also consider that we have to remain on guard against assaults on the hard-fought freedoms we’ve already won.

Just recently — with St. Louis Alderman Lyda Krewson’s introduction of legislation to BAN citizens from owning most semi-automatic rifles and handguns — we saw exactly why this is so important.

Under Alderman Krewson’s outrageous bill, St. Louis residents would have 60 days to turn in their so-called “assault weapons” or face three months in jail and stiff fines!

Not only that, but her legislation would also require gun owners to have “lock boxes” in their cars so their guns could not be accessed!

Under state law, this illegal scheme could never be enforced.

But it shows the gun-grabbers are willing to try ANYTHING to get their way.

That’s why we must remain vigilant.

After all, even in (rare) times of peace for our country, Washington, D.C. doesn’t disband the U.S. military or allow vital equipment to fall into decay.

Why?

Because not being ready for an attack virtually assures there will be one.

The truth is, it’s no different in gun politics. We’re always just one madman, ISIS terrorist wannabee, or bloodthirsty thug away from the political fights of our lives.

Counting on politicians to act as liberty’s bulwark is a recipe for disaster.

That’s why the Missouri Firearms Coalition never allows our resources to dip below what it would take to launch an initial counterattack against a last minute gun control assault.

But with the attacks I fear are coming after you and I passed Constitutional Carry last year, I’m worried we could be woefully unprepared for what’s in store for us in 2017.

So if you think preserving our funds to concentrate solely on playing defense this year is most important, please mark “OPTION #2: REMAIN VIGILANT AGAINST ANTI-GUN ASSAULTS.”

As you’ll see, my decision isn’t an easy one.

That’s why I’m counting on you to please fill out and return your Missouri Firearms Coalition Member Ballot and tell me where to focus.

Of course, when you do so, you’ll notice I’ve included one more option that I haven’t yet mentioned on your Member Ballot.

That’s “OPTION #3: FIGHT THE GUN-GRABBERS EVERYWHERE! DON’T GIVE AN INCH!”

This is the option I’m hoping you’ll choose. But before you consider making this selection, please understand just how serious this situation is.

Without a massive influx of funds, the Missouri Firearms Coalition won’t be able to run a full-scale legislative campaign — either defensive or offensive for 2017.

And with BILLIONAIRE anti-gun activist Michael Bloomberg and his cronies on the lookout for states to jump into with both feet, I can’t tell you what a horrific message this would send.

That’s why my hope is that you will agree to a generous gift of $100 right away
.

I know that’s a lot.

I know I’m asking you to stretch. But the work you and I have ahead of us in 2017 must be done.

So if $100 is just too much, won’t you please agree to $50 or at least $25?

With time running out before the State Legislature convenes, I simply must hear from you right away.

Please don’t delay.

Please fill out your Member Ballot and submit it to me right away.

And please also consider your most generous contribution of $100, $50 or at least $25 right away.

Thank you, for your continued defense of the Second Amendment here in Missouri!

For Freedom,

Dr. Curt Frazier
Chairman of the Board

P.S. Without a massive influx of funds, I simply can’t do everything that needs to be done. And the State Legislature is already well underway in Jeff City!

So I need you to tell me where to focus.

Please fill out your Member Ballot and submit it to me right away.

Once you’re through, please consider your most generous gift of $100, $50 or at least $25 TODAY!
