Texas Highlights the Need to End “Gun Free Zones!”

It’s so predictable.

While the national news, gun control organizations, and anti-gun politicians all try to use the tragedy in Texas to advance gun control — they all leave out one inconvenient fact.

The Texas church shooting took place in a ‘Gun Free Zone.’

Yes, Texas law specifically forbids concealed or open carry without a special authorization from the church, something many refuse due to liability concerns.

If this doesn’t highlight the awful reality behind gun free zones, I don’t know what does!

While doing nothing to stop violent crime, these so-called ‘Gun Free Zones’ have actually become the biggest targets for mass killers in recent years.

Churches in South Carolina and Texas, nightclubs in Florida, military recruiting centers in Tennessee, or shopping centers in Nebraska — armed madmen virtually always target these ‘Gun Free Zones’ looking for easy victims.

The cost of these horribly misguided policies are more than just talking points, they are paid in human blood.

In Texas, one extended family alone lost EIGHT family members!

Hundreds of people have been murdered in this country in the last couple of years by mass shooters, and all of them happened in places where they were forced to disarm!

That’s why it’s high time we pass our legislation to end these deadly ‘Gun Free Zones’ here in Missouri!

If you’re tired of seeing innocent people murdered in ‘Gun Free Zones’ and want to see them done away with in Missouri, please sign our petition right away!

Don’t forget, even with the passage of Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground law last year, there are still DOZENS of areas where you are I are required to disarm in Missouri.

Churches.

Hospitals.

Daycares.

Sports areas.

All of these locations — and over a dozen more — are off-limits to gun owners and are a bright flashy target to the next mass shooter looking for a body count.

It’s time the legislature act. But they need to hear from you, to be told what you expect of them.

Please stand with us and make your voice heard, by signing your petition in support of this legislation right away!

As you’ll remember, last session our bill made it through three House committees before being shut down.

But next year is an election year. And believe me when I say that the legislature doesn’t want to adjourn without having passed a gun bill.

So next session will be a real opportunity to pass this legislation, if we can create a large enough grassroots firestorm!

That starts with your signed petition.

But I also am counting on your renewed support for the Missouri Firearms Coalition.

Mobilizing gun owners en masse requires mass emails, targeted social media, robo calls, radio ads and more — and it all adds up.

That’s why I hope you’ll renew your membership in MOFC (or join for the first time) right away!

Everyone who renews or joins at the Bronze level will receive a FREE decal from us.

If you can join at the Silver level or above, you’ll receive the decal as well as a FREE MOFC T-Shirt shipped to you for free.

And for our lifetime members, you’ll receive your decal and shirt as well as a hand crafted wooden plaque to commemorate your generous support of the Second Amendment!

As you can see, there is no specified membership level.

I only ask that you act right away. The 2018 session will be here before you know it, and we are hard at work making our plans — but we need to know how much ammo we have to work with.

I don’t know about you, but I’m sick off seeing innocent people paying the price for arrogant politicians who decide where you and I are required to disarm.

It’s high time that Missouri eliminate these gun free zones, but that will only happen with a mountain of grassroots pressure.

So please stand with us and sign your petition and renew your support in the Missouri Firearms Coalition TODAY!

For Freedom,

Dr. Curt Frazier

P.S. The recent Texas church shooting was just the latest in a long line of mass shootings that took place in so-called ‘Gun Free Zones.’

These are places where law abiding people are disarmed and helpless, and where violent killers know they can get a body count.

Help us remove these areas from Missouri code next session, by signing your petition in support of this legislation immediately!

And when you’re done, please renew your membership (or join for the first time) in the Missouri Firearms Coalition right away!
