The August 4th primary will be here before you know it.
And for gun owners here in Missouri, this is the only election that matters. Because while the Democrats are dangerous in Jeff City, the GOP still has wide majorities in the House and Senate.
But as we’ve seen for years now, there are Republicans who will fight for gun rights and RINOs who will stab us in the back.
The primary election is where gun owners have direct power to decide which type of Republicans will control our state for the next two years — and this is where we can punish the bad guys.
MOFC members have been doing this to RINOs for years.
Now, we get to do it again.
And that starts with our candidate survey program. You see, every Republican claims to be a gun rights champion in a Republican primary.
But that’s usually a joke.
That’s why we have mailed out our candidate surveys, to get the candidates on the record. We don’t ask weak questions like, ‘Are you pro-gun? or ‘Will you vote against gun control?’
We push for details.
Will you sponsor bills to enhance Stand-Your-Ground law?
Will you sponsor bills to ban ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures?’
How will you vote on gun control coming from RINOS?
The results of this program are vital, especially for candidates who are seeking office for the first time and don’t have a record for gun owners to examine.
Between now and August 4, please feel free to hit the ‘Election Tab’ on our website, to see who has surveyed — and who is refusing to survey.
(If you don’t see results, check back again. The surveys were mailed out recently.)
But here’s the deal. MOFC’s ability to expose anti-gun Republicans is directly contingent on the support that we have from members like you.
If gun owners give us the ammo we need to run this program, we’ll fire for effect. If gun owners sit back, assume that everything is fine in red Missouri, then MOFC will be muted.
And one day soon, those gun owners will wake up and wonder what happened to their gun rights.
That’s the story of Florida.
That’s the story of Indiana.
We can’t let that become Missouri’s story.
