While we work to defeat Rep. Pete Merideth’s bill to repeal both Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground law, we have exciting developments on H.B. 1936.

This is the bill that Rep. Jered Taylor has introduced for us, that would repeal over a dozen deadly ‘Gun Free Zones’ that are on the books here in Missouri!

After all, it doesn’t matter if you carry with a permit or under our Constitutional Carry law if the state forces you to disarm!

Late last week, this bill (H.B. 1936) was referred to the General Laws Committee for further consideration.

Of course, we’ve been here before, just last year. But we have to get through these House Committees in order to get these bills onto the House floor for a vote.

That’s why I hope you’ll send the members of the House General Laws Committee this PRE-WRITTEN EMAIL urging them to advance this bill with no weakening amendments!

I can assure you that Bloomberg’s lobbyists will be out in force, and their people will be doing everything they can to stop this bill.

So it’s essential that the committee members hear from gun owners over and over.

This is a great step forward for our bill, but it’s vital that we not get bogged down here too long or the clock will run out on us.

So please send the committee members our PRE-WRITTEN email right away!
