Session is coming fast in Jeff City, and it’s going to be rough.
A brand-new “Red Flag Gun Seizure” bill — SB-1158 — has just been filed by Senate Democrats. It’s designed to unleash a nightmare scenario here in Missouri.
And with Senate Republicans killing every pro-gun bill for almost five years, we can’t take anything for granted.
Missouri’s gun owners need to push back immediately.

SB-1158 is straight out of the Radical Left’s playbook. Here’s what it would do:
👉 These gun seizure orders would be issued BEFORE you’ve been convicted, or even charged, with anything at all! No due process, no evidence, no crime — just accusations.
👉 The hearings that determine whether the government can confiscate your firearms happen in SECRET! You don’t get to defend yourself. You don’t get to confront the accuser. You might not even know it’s happening until the cops show up.
👉 The mere fact that you recently purchased a firearm or ANY ammunition becomes “evidence” against you. Buying a Glock? A hunting rifle? A couple boxes of 5.56? Under SB-1158, that’s enough to red-flag you.
This is exactly how law-abiding gun owners get destroyed.
And here’s the political danger:
Missouri Republicans have blocked every single pro-gun bill since 2021 — EVERY one — and it’s been the Senate doing the killing.
That weakness has emboldened the hard-core Left. They smell an opening, and SB-1158 is their first move.
If even one Republican in the Missouri Senate decides to “keep the peace” by supporting this bill, it could gain momentum fast.
That’s why we need to shut this down immediately.

As you know, when Missouri gun owners get loud, politicians listen. When we get quiet — even for one session — bad things happen in Jeff City.
States like Florida and Indiana got Red Flag laws because gun owners thought, “It’ll never happen here.”
And then it did.
We cannot let that happen in Missouri.
