Another “Gun Free” church school was attacked today — this time a Catholic school in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Caught in the middle of morning prayer, 2 children were killed and 17 others were wounded based on what we know right now.
The shooter has been identified as Robert Westman.
According to dozens of reports circulating on X, Westman is very likely the latest transgender man to dress up like a woman and attack a Christian church school.
(While we wait for confirmation on this — which the media and police in Tim Walz’s Minnesota will likely never give us — take a look at his picture and decide for yourself.)

We’ll have much more to say about the political impact of this soon, because of course the Left is already calling for more gun control in Minnesota.
For today, I just wanted to write to you as a regular guy with a wife and kids and tell you what you already know: this isn’t the world we grew up in. If you are not prepared, now is the time!
If you already have an everyday carry set up, feel free to ignore the rest of this email.
But if you are re-evaluating the kind of gear you need with you in today’s world, I thought I would show you what I carry (or have in the car with me) every day.
👉 A large frame handgun with a spare magazine, a ‘whitelight,’ and a red dot optic.
I carry a Glock 19 most days. The brand doesn’t matter. Just make sure you carry a reliable handgun. For low-light situations (like walking out of church Sunday night,) you need a quality ‘whitelight.’ I like Streamlight, I’ve used them for years.
And while I resisted a red dot optic for a while, my sons convinced me after I shot theirs. It’s made me a much better shot, especially at distance or while moving.

👉 A tourniquet to quickly stop blood loss in the wake of a shooting or a car accident.
If you’re ever near an incident like the one in Minneapolis today, you need to stop the bleeding — fast. A tourniquet is how you do that. They cost around $30 for a good one. Get some for your car, but also stick one in your pocket.
This is one of mine:

👉 A more advanced ‘med kit’ for your home, car, and office. These kits help you buy time while waiting for EMS.
It would be nice if EMS could arrive 5 seconds after you or a family member need them. But that’s not realistic. In Uvalde, TX the cops sat outside for almost an hour before making entry.
A med kit with an extra tourniquet, wound packing gauze with clotting agent, a chest seal, some pressure dressing and a few more items can buy you precious minutes.
This is the one I have in my truck:

To be clear, I’m not an expert. And this is not a comprehensive list. (I didn’t even mention my knife, flashlight, etc.) But these are relatively inexpensive items that you need to have.
Of course, having these items doesn’t do a whole lot if you don’t practice with them. So make time for that, too.
It’s clear that the America we grew up in is gone forever.
Whether it’s transgender psychos, the foreign nationals that Biden let in, or people who were fed a diet of mind-altering drugs for decades…attacks on churches are becoming normal.
Buy the gear you need to take care of your family now!
