Congressional Democrats are out for blood! Their latest bill (no bill # yet) bans the sale, purchase and possession of all suppressors — even though we all know suppressors offer hearing protection and make it easier to teach new shooters how to use a firearm.
But this bill doesn’t just ban future sales.
This bill also orders the confiscation of all suppressors that you already own! This is not a drill. It requires gun owners to hand over their ‘cans’ to the government within 90 days!
Here’s what the bill does, specifically:
1. Immediately bans the sale and purchase of future suppressors
2. Creates a 90-day window for gun owners to hand over suppressors they own
3. Builds in a carveout allowing all levels of government to own suppressors
4. Would throw us in prison for five years for possessing a suppressor
This has nothing to do with crime! There are 6 million suppressors in circulation already, and statistically, they are NEVER used by criminals. This is about disarming gun owners.
