Jeff City Democrats have raged against Stand-Your-Ground law ever since MOFC members passed it into law ten years ago. Now, with the media’s help, they are talking about repealing it!
Without Stand-Your-Ground law, liberal prosecutors would be able to:
- Prosecute you for defending yourself without retreating first
- Prosecute you for even drawing your firearm in self-defense
- Bankrupt you and ruin your life, even if you win in court
- Force gun owners into taking bogus plea deals
Everyone knows how liberal prosecutors weaponize the law to serve their political agenda. If we lose Stand-Your-Ground law, it would be ten times worse here in Missouri.
