Prior to our founding, Missouri had no Stand-Your-Ground law. We had a very weak Castle Doctrine law. We had to beg permission from the government to carry a handgun for self-defense. And we had scores of Republicans who said they couldn’t do anything because we had a Democrat for a Governor.

The national organizations were NEVER seen in Jeff City, and at election time, they gave anti-gun RINOs A+ ratings, which only made the problem worse!

That all changed when the Missouri Firearms Coalition was founded. We didn’t just change the gun laws; we changed political reality in Missouri.
