Missouri trans-gender activist and State Representative Wick Thomas is trying to repeal Missouri’s pre-emption law, which states that only the legislature can regulate firearms or ammunition in the state.
Politically, this bill is designed to test the resolve of the GOP in Jeff City and the reaction of grassroots gun owners. We need to get loud, right now!
House Bill 2064 would be horrific Missouri as it would:
1. Repeal Missouri’s existing state firearms pre-emption law
2. Allow every city/county to pass local gun control laws
3. Set up Missourians for bogus criminal charges
4. Create a patchwork quilt of gun laws
Implementation of this bill would result in gun owners that live in St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbia, Springfield having virtually no firearms left!
