MOFC’s HB-2176 (sponsored by Rep. Chad Perkins) would make major improvements to Missouri gun rights, fixing issues that have been neglected by the legislature for years. Now it’s time for your State Rep. co-sponsors and votes for this bill.
Once passed into law, HB-2176 would:
1. Put civil penalties into Missouri’s pre-emption law
2. Ban ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ in Missouri for good
3. Prohibit cities and counties from banning open carry
4. Provide critical enhancements to state Stand-Your-Ground law
5. Lower the age when Missourians can apply for a carry permit from 19 to 18
This bill would provide fantastic protections for gun owners here in Missouri.
