I’m getting very worried.
According to my records, you haven’t yet renewed your Missouri Firearms Coalition membership for 2018.
I know we’ve tried to get in touch with you a few times now.
If you have already renewed your support for 2018, and our records simply haven’t updated fast enough, thank you for your continued support!
But if you haven’t yet done so, please use the link I’ll give you below to renew and your membership in Missouri Firearms Coalition for 2018 IMMEDIATELY. More on that in a minute.
You can choose whatever amount you’d like. Just please act at once!
The truth is, good folks like you are the real backbone of this organization.
Without your action, there’s no way we could have succeeded in passing Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground in 2016, and advanced the “Gun Free Zone” Repeal Bill through multiple committees over the past few months.
So any time a member doesn’t renew immediately, I grow worried that perhaps I may have done something wrong.
After all, I know you haven’t stopped caring about protecting and advancing our gun rights here in Missouri.
So if I don’t say it enough, thank you for all you’ve done, and hopefully all you’ll continue to do as a member of the Missouri Firearms Coalition.
2018 is going to be a big year here in Missouri.
After the Las Vegas and Texas shootings, gun-grabbers believe the political winds will be blowing strongly their way.
And they’ve identified Missouri as one of their top targets for a “Midwestern comeback” in 2018 — something they desperately need if they’re going to seize back the White House in 2020.
If our supposed allies in Jefferson City adopt the “sit on their hands” strategy advocated for by the “consultant class,” it will effectively roll out the red carpet for national anti-gun groups who are looking to build momentum for the 2020 presidential elections.
The truth is, when pro-gun legislators ignore their campaign promises, grassroots energy dies.
Gun-grabbers become more emboldened.
And Michael Bloomberg and George Soros find it easier to start sneaking legislators they believe they can “work with” through primary and General Election campaigns without taking tough stands on Second Amendment issues.
The best way to stand up to this madness is by GOING ON THE OFFENSE to expose Bloomberg’s allies in BOTH parties.
The good news is, you and I have already laid the groundwork by forcing the Missouri “Gun Free Zone” Repeal Bill through THREE House Committees, setting the stage for a showdown on the House floor.
After passage of Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground last year, this is a critical next step.
As you know, it’s no accident that madmen, ISIS-wannabees and bloodthirsty criminals target so-called “Gun Free Zones” when looking to rack up a high body count.
They know anti-gun government officials have already done the work of disarming anyone who can fight back.
So they’re free to shoot away until they get bored or run out of bullets.
Sadly, our state is one of the most restrictive when it comes to places marked “off limits” to law-abiding gun owners.
Under state law, ALL of the following areas are declared “gun free zones,” including:
*** Hospitals. As a physician, I can tell you that gang violence routinely spills over into hospitals as criminals look to ensure those who might talk to police are “taken care of” before they’re able to;
*** Churches. With the growing threat from thousands of Islamic refugees, Christians are sure to become bigger targets in the coming years. And as we saw in Charleston, South Carolina in 2015 and the recent shooting at a Tennessee church this year, churches are high on killers’ lists of “soft targets;”
*** Many restaurants. As if there was no need for Missouri citizens to have some way to protect themselves walking to their cars at night after a late dinner!
*** Day cares. Just as we’ve seen in schools, day cares have also been targets for those seeking to make news headlines through murder;
*** Polling places and local government meetings. Local government officials are allowed to carry to protect themselves. Isn’t your life worth just as much?
With ISIS calling for violence at American polling places in the lead up to the 2018 elections, our citizens must be able to protect themselves.
The Missouri “Gun Free Zone” Repeal Bill would simply remove the state-directed prohibition against having a legal firearm in any one of these areas.
It would also mandate that K-12 schools provide a legal method for someone on the premises to carry through an enhanced permit — whether that’s teachers, school administrators or security officers.
Just as we’ve seen with Columbine and Newtown, our kids are often the most vulnerable to blood-crazed lunatics.
Isn’t it time a gunman was forced to think twice before targeting a school for a shooting spree?
The good news is, just forcing a public, roll-call vote puts you and me in a win/win situation.
As the battle over “Gun Free Zone” Repeal heats up, candidates running for office will no longer be able to keep their views on the Second Amendment secret.
The issue will just be too big to ignore.
Not only that, but every single one of Bloomberg’s allies in Jefferson City will be exposed for all to see.
Many of them will pay a severe price at the polls.
And remember, if you can join at the Silver Level or above, we’ll be happy to rush you a FREE T-Shirt and membership decal!
You proved that we can make a difference with passage of Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground last year.
Now is the time to take the next step by repealing “Gun Free Zones” across Missouri.
With so much more work to be done in 2018, I’m counting on your support once more.
Of course, there’s no set amount to renew.
You can renew your membership at any level of support you choose. I just hope you’ll do whatever you can, right away.
You’re a critical part of our winning team at Missouri Firearms Coalition.
I’m anxiously awaiting your response.
Dr. Curt Frazier
Chairman of the Board
P.S. I’m very concerned.
I haven’t yet received your Membership Renewal for 2018.
If you’ve already renewed your support, and our records simply haven’t updated fast enough, I sincerely apologize.
You’re a critical part of EVERYTHING Missouri Firearms Coalition does, which is why I hope you’ll continue to stand with us in the year ahead.
